Be warned, these are not great. Cheaply made and more a hobbyist toy than well made tool. The parallax of the wood makes small measurements nearly impossible. The friction of opening the dividers also undoes the **** holding the dividers together, so it is constant retightening. Some small engineering changes would make the difference, and I’m disappointed they have chosen to ignore these changes for the small profit margin they are gaining from not implementing. I bought ten of these for my school, so this is not based on one possible defect. All my students are running into the same problems.

I have loved everything I have purchased from Milan. Everything has been top notch... except for this brush. It constantly sheds! The one I bought from the Home Depot for $3.00 sheds less! Is there anything I can do to it to get it to stop shedding?

Love these and the color is amazing next to anything else I've tried. Just do it if you are debating!

Honestly I am afraid to use them. I am not a good painter and just starting out. My thought is I will use the cheaper stuff practicing painting and use the good stuff when I’m better.

Beautiful large wooden tool. Not like the plastic smaller ones sold elsewhere.

This brush is great I have had similar chip brushes but either they fall apart, lose their bristles or the bristles are synthetic which don't hold the paint.

Indian yellow very dark and manganese blue hue more green than blue.

I've had a great experience with most of the brushes in this set so far. They are sturdy and bigger brushes can cover a large portion of a surface at a time. The smaller ones are also sturdy and great for details. One brush I haven't bonded with yet, is the large chip brush. It seems very "thirsty" and absorbs most of the paint. I am not giving up on it yet, though, considering how great the rest of the set is.

This is the most complete planner that I have ever seen for an artist. I will even push you to expand your business.

I’m in the Mastery Program but didn’t originally buy the proportion tool. It was a huge mistake! Buy it! It’s really amazing makes finding proportions much easier!

I ordered the Milan chip brush because the chip brush that I bought at Hobby Lobby kept losing the hairs into my paintings. This one seems to hold the hairs quite nicely. I have only noticed a couple of hairs coming loose during my lessons. Far less than the other chip brush.

I ordered Opus Pink, because I could not find it anywhere. I have a huge amount of Gamblin oils, so I don't need all of the Milan oils yet. This paint is so vibrant and glides so smoothly. I will be changing out my Gamblin paints as I go. Recommend highly!

I look foreard to using yhe bivid colors. I bought several classes and am running brjind.

Fabulous colors. Love they are fast drying. A great addition to oil painting .

I’m still experimenting with using water colors. I’m guessing that it’s wood pulp paper which makes not suitable for lifting or subtraction. Also it’s hard to remove the tape when finished.
I’ve started using a soft gel medium under my water colors which seams to help. What I do like is the beautiful granulation that happens.
I’m suggesting it best suited to mixed media, mark making and collage.

These are great brushes, they keep their shape and the bristles don’t fall out. Well made!
